At least six people have been killed and widespread damage has been reported across Middle Tennessee following a series of severe storms and tornadoes that swept through the region on Sunday.

The National Weather Service confirmed that two tornadoes touched down in Tennessee during the storms, causing significant damage in several counties.
A 22-year-old man was killed in Claiborne County when a tree fell on his vehicle around 10:30 a.m. A toddler was among the six people killed in the storms, officials said.
Damage from the storms is widespread, with reports of downed trees, power lines, and damaged buildings. Emergency crews are responding to the affected areas and assessing the extent of the damage.
